Policies and Cancellations
Any person requesting accommodation at the Vista al Mar lodge must register
with the credit cards and / or special booking established by the business and show good customs,
morality and decency within the establishment.
The hotel reserves the right of admission when a guest commits immoral or scandalous acts, they are in a drunken state or under the influence of drugs or narcotics, or when their luggage contains animals or its intended use is used other than its intended purpose.
The guest will specify how long his period of stay will be on the registration card. The term of one day will be considered as the unit of time, expiring the next day from 9 to 10 am.
It is the guest's obligation to pay lodging in advance, daily, or when required by the hotel, in accordance with the rates approved by the Secretary of Tourism. The guest who vacates the room on the day of departure after the check out time is obliged to stay or pay for one more day of lodging. There is only a 10 minute leeway period.
The lack of payment by the guest will cause an instant termination of the accommodation and the hotelier may use public force to demand and carry out the vacating of the room, being able to retain luggage as an asset until the appropriate payment is received and judicial execution or extrajudicial, or adjudication about the goods ends in two thirds of their evaluation, when the sale is impossible.
The hotel only serves as the depository of the values, money, jewelery and other goods that the guests deliver to the hotel administration. The hotel does not except responsibility when there is damage or loss of guest property due to a fortuitous event, force, or actions caused by the guest herself, her companions or visitors, or by people not part of the hotel staff.
No guest has the right to give accommodation to another person or have employees without the consent of the hotel’s management, unless making the corresponding arrangements for their registration and fee.
In the event that a guest becomes ill, their family members must be notified to remove them from the hotel. If the disease is serious or contagious, the nearest health or hospital authority will be notified, and in extreme urgency, the private medical services on behalf of the guest or family.
The guest must inform the administration of the illness, death, infraction or crime that occurs, safeguarding the rights of the establishment and guests to report any wrongdoing to the competent authority when they occur within the hotel.
The objects or values forgotten by a guest in any of the facilities of the establishment, will remain in the custody of the administration for up to six months, then they will be disposed of in accordance with the law.
Guests have the obligation on their departures to leave the doors, windows, water outlets, electrical current closed, as well as to hand over the key to the administration and notify it of their absence when it is greater than 27 hours.
The employees of this hotel must respect the privacy of the guest and may only have access to the rooms occupied for cleaning purposes and in cases where the guest's safety is threatened at his request. Security measures have been taken in the hotel to prevent fires or accidents.
The guest is strictly prohibited to:
A) Make annoying noises, provoke altercations, introduce or use musicians, animals, chemicals, drugs
or food in the hotel and to prepare them in the rooms in general, and any act that disturbs or
bothers the other hotel guests.
B) Use the rooms for acts prohibited by law or hold meetings that have the purpose of disturbing public order or disobeying the Laws or regulations in force.
C) Irrationally use for other purposes: electric currents, water, and goods and objects in the rooms and common areas of the hotel. Art 16 Visits, searches, inspections and other procedures that the authorities need to carry out within the rooms and the fulfillment of their functions, will be carried out with the strictest adherence to constitutional guarantees.
A room is reserved when the hotel accepts and confirms a person's request for accommodation, which is confirmed with the advance deposit of the requested accommodation amount.
When the guest violates the provisions of this regulation, his contract will be terminated and immediate vacating may be required and carried out with the help of authorities without the guest having the right to reduce his debt. He must pay the damages caused by his actions. Cases not provided for in this regulation will be registered by the Tourism Law, its regulations, and by a current applicable legislation, as well as the custom and use of accommodation.
The Hotel is not responsible for the services contracted by third parties, through the Hotel or directly.
Cancellation and prepayment conditions
The client can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 10 days before
the arrival date.
The client will have to pay 50% of the total price if he cancels during the 10 days before the arrival date.
The client will have to pay 50% of the total price in advance after making the reservation.
